Half Beef

Each grain-finished carcass is approximately 850lbs divided by 2 to equal half is 425lbs.

This is a variable weight since each animal is not the same size at harvest. 

•  $5.25/lb on the hanging weight (Roughly $2250) based on 425 lb carcass

• The amount of consumable meat you get off of the carcass is going to be about 240-260lbs (anywhere from 58-63% of the carcass weight)
• This breaks down to about $9.00 a pound for all of your beef products.
• Breakdown of beef include:
• 45% Ground Beef all 1 pound packages
• 35% Premium Steak cuts (Ribeye, New York, Filet Minion, Chuck Steak, Flat Iron, Denver Steak, Sirloin, Round Steak, Cube Steak, Teres Major)
• 20% Roast and Ribs (Brisket, Tri-TIp, Bottom Round, Carne Asasda, London Broil, Cube Steak, Short Ribs, Chuck Roast)
